While A LOT in the world has changed around us (including our name), we have remained committed to helping people just like you find a meaningful faith in God that leads to a life of purpose and fulfillment. Welcome to Journey Church of Punxsy!  It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’ve been, or what you’ve done. You matter to God and to us. We’re so glad you’re here. Journey Church is made up of real people, living real lives, making mistakes, experiencing joy, doing the best we can with what we have, FOLLOWING JESUS TOGETHER daily.

We invite you to come and worship with us this weekend. Sunday worship is at 9:00am and 11:00am. Services are also live streamed on Facebook.

Small Group Sunday School with more opportunities to connect and grow are at 10:00am.

Journey Kids – for elementary age kids, is offered during the 9am service. Our nursery is staffed from 9am-noon.

The service music is upbeat and a mixture of modern and traditional hymns; the message is relevant to daily living and based on the Bible.

Following Jesus Together

In Isaiah 43, God speaks to a demoralized, dejected people who think that God has abandoned them and He calls them to look to the future to see what He wants to do among them.  “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a NEW THING! Now it springs up, do you not perceive it?  I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland”.  Jesus wants to do something new in you, also!

In the gospel of Luke 4:16-21 Jesus said that He came for one reason: 

To Proclaim the Good News of God’s love so that people would be set free!

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to hear about God’s love for them through Jesus.  We also know that different people are at different points in life.  That is why we want to give you the opportunity to experience Jesus for yourself and to follow Him as He leads you – so feel welcome and join us online, in person, for prayer or in a GROW group.
